Trailers

The nearly semi-true movie of New Zealand's most dangerous stuntman: from his youth on a remote sheep-farm, Randy Cambell followed his (late) father's and grandfather's footsteps in a quest to become the greatest daredevil. His dream is to perform the ultimate stunt - jumping from the South Island to the North Island in a rocket car. The Devil Dared Me To is a turbo charged love story doused in gasoline the follows him in his steadfast pursuit of the insanely self-destructive dream that killed his legendary father.

Every kiwi lad dreams of greatness. But even as a boy, his dream is as big as the stunts his not-so-death-defying father died attempting. Young Randy Cambell yearns to be New Zealand's greatest living stuntman, much to the chagrin of his aunt and uncle - even though they understand that the petrol running in Randy's veins is bound to ignite one day. Can the love of a one-legged female Evil Knievel save Randy and break his descendants' long legacy of fiery and fatal confrontations with the grim reaper?

Amazing stunts, pranks, drinking, cussing, rocket cars, an evil villain, a damsel in distress, wild special effects, soap, cunning stunts, rock 'n roll, gross bodily harm, and outrageous black comedy make for an unforgettable night at the movies. Strap yourself in and stay to watch the painful outtakes during the end credits.
